Through the years, St. Mary's College of Meycauayan becomes a prestigious school in the Philippines. The development of the school is growing much better in every year. The journey of the school towards faith, service, and excellence in the education are continuing to grow deeper and giving the best to the student needs in the future. St. Mary's College of Meycauayan is a catholic Ignacian-Marian Institution that proudly boasts of its quality education that is very renowned to all.

 St. Mary’s College of Meycauayan is a Catholic school for boys and girls. St. Mary’s College of Meycauayan, formerly called Escuela Catolica de Meycauayan and St. Mary's Academy of Meycauayan, was founded in 1916 as a Parochial School offering the primary course with Catechism as its core subject. It was and is still managed and administered by the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM), the first Filipino Congregation founded in 1684 by a Filipina, Mother Ignacia del Espiritu Santo. During the Second World War, classes were temporarily suspended in June 1944 and were reopened in July 1945 with the Intermediate and First Year High School classes. March 1949 marked the graduation of the first ten High School seniors of the then St. Mary’s Academy.

FACILITIES 

SMCM Museum, one of the newest facilities in preparation for the centennial celebration on 2016. There are many things that you can noticed when you entered the museum, but only one  is important and that is "SMCM is truly historical".

There are many things donated by some students such as old pictures, sharpeners, uniform, swords and old discs. Also, you could surprised when you saw a stone coming from an old church which is torn down completely on fire back then. It is truly surprising and amazing to witness SMCM's  history. 

The Instructional Media Center (IMC) comprises the College Library, IBED Library, and Audio-Visual Center. The IMC is a unit that supports and  advances the objectives of the institution. Its resources, facilities, and services are organized and managed to serve the library clients in their pursuit of intellectual growth and academic excellence.

To address the multiple needs of today’s students, the  IMC has changed its approach from being  traditional to hybrid. As the learners change, libraries must also evolve from simply providing information to students to engaging students and helping them to become critical thinkers, evaluators, users, and creators of information and knowledge. Today, at SMCM we embrace the “learning commons”  model of which  the library was restructured to create new learning spaces suited for the 21st century learners.

SCIENCE LABORATORY

SMCM prepares every Marian for the 21st century learning, engaging its students as well as teachers of quality education thru a world – class laboratory. STEM LAB stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Laboratories that makes SMCM as 2nd to have outside USA, thus given the permit to offer and operate here in the Philippines. Activities set for these laboratories are elective classes with Performance tasks for Junior and Senior High School students. The said activities entail 20 modules to be offered to grade 7 until grade 12.​

SMCM is a school that have a good facilities. First is library, they have two library for the elementary to college students and they have a lot of books that need in your study. Second is Musuem, you can see the history of the school and also the history of all the known people that studied in SMCM. Third is Chapel, they have a small chapel for all the marians students and also for all the people that want to thank to our God and anymore. SMCM is one of the school that have a low tuition fee in all the school in Meycauayan. Then SMCM are have a lot of teachers or professor that  have a lot of experienc in teaching and have a high degree in teaching. Lastly SMCM is a school that have a lot of students that they know what are they goals and perspective in life because of the help of teachers in SMCM they show the meaning and importance of education in all aspects.
